But what I really enjoyed was seeing how the local people love nature and all of this creation. They care for the environment, for the animals and even their crops. It was amazing to see that they have a loving and peaceful attitude to everything surrounding them. I particularly enjoyed the company of our Loddon Shire Ambassador, Paul Haw. He's very knowledgeable and was very keen in passing part of that knowledge to us. I was inspired by this trip and hope to treasure my experience for years to come."

He, just like the rest of the locals, were helpful and the sights he took us to see were definitely worth lugging a huge camera around. One of my favourite places in Boort was the caravan park where we stayed because it was situated next to a lake. Watching the beautiful sunrise with my early-riser friends was the best!"
